This year’s Friday morning skate is unlike anything we’ve ever done in the past! Instead of one route for the group, we’ve called on local skate discipline leaders to give an opportunity for BAR attendees to participate in a wide variety of skate activities. No matter the option you choose, all groups will meetup at the hotel at 10AM and depart at 10:30AM. Each group will have a BAR staff member to escort you to each destination.
Option 1: Aggressive skating at LES Skate Park (escort from hotel: Mike Gundert)
Option 2: Speed skating in Prospect Park (escort from hotel: Seth McCay)
Option 3: Slalom/wizard/ jam skating at Roebling Plaza under the Brooklyn Bridge (escort from hotel: Sonic)
Option 4: 15-mile skate to view Buskwick’s street art scene, centered around the Bushwick Collective
